Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. CDT

PLACE:	Marie K. Young Wedgewood Community Center, 6405 Wagner Road, Pensacola, FL 32505

Subject:	FDOT District Three will host a public meeting on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. concerning the Interstate 10 (I-10) at U.S. 29 Interchange Project in Escambia County. There will not be a formal presentation at this event; however, maps and graphics will be on display and representatives from FDOT will be available to discuss the project plans, answer questions, and receive comments. This $236 million project includes constructing a new I-10 alignment through the center of the U.S. 29 interchange with an increased capacity of six travel lanes (three in each direction). The increased capacity will improve service on I-10, between mile marker 11 and the I-10/I-110 interchange. Approximately 62,000 commuters travel this section of I-10 daily. The new I-10 alignment will require a new configuration of the I-10 at U.S. 29 interchange, to include conversion of some existing I-10 mainline segments and utilization of five existing interchange bridges. This construction project is currently estimated for completion in summer 2030.
