	The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, CDT

PLACE:	Bonifay K-8 School Auditorium, 140 Blue Devil Drive, Bonifay, FL 32425

Subject:	The Commission will be hosting a public meeting to provide an update on chronic wasting disease (CWD), a fatal disease that affects members of the deer family, since its recent detection in Holmes County. The primary purpose of this meeting is for staff to update stakeholders on the status of CWD monitoring and response efforts, including special regulations to be established by Executive Order for the 2024-25 deer hunting season.
