Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 12 p.m. (CDT)

PLACE:	Online, www.nwflroads.com/calendar

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a virtual project update to present information and gather feedback concerning the Klondike Road bridge replacement in Escambia County. This virtual project update can be viewed beginning at 12 p.m. (CDT) Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at www.nwflroads.com/calendar. The intent of this project is to replace the existing structurally deficient bridge on Klondike Road over Unnamed Branch. During construction, a temporary roadway and bridge will be built on the west side to allow construction of the new bridge to occur on the current location. Driveways within the project limits will be redirected to the temporary roadway during construction. Once bridge construction is complete the driveways will be returned to the permanent roadway. Additional improvements include new guardrail, new pavement and pavement markings, minor drainage improvements, and sodding. Additional right-of-way will be required. Visit the project website to review the proposed right-of-way acquisition. Bids for construction are scheduled to occur spring 2024. Maps, drawings, and other information is available online at 12 p.m. (CDT) Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at www.nwflroads.com/calendar. The project materials may also be viewed by contacting the FDOT Project Manager at the below information. FDOT representatives are available to discuss the proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.
