Overview



	The Department of Transportation District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	April 25, 2024, 4:30 to 6 p.m.

PLACE:	FDOT Urban Office Training Center, 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation invites you to a public meeting to discuss the proposed improvements as part of the State Road 228 (Post Street) at Old Roosevelt Boulevard intersection modification project (FIN 209443-4). Proposed improvements include an intersection modification at Post Street and Old Roosevelt Boulevard to increase rail safety. A companion project (209443-2) includes milling and resurfacing Post Street (State Road 228) from Cassat Avenue to Old Roosevelt Boulevard. The meeting will begin with an open house from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a public comment period at 6 p.m. Public participation is sought without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status. Project documents and virtual participation instructions are available at www.FDOT.gov/VPH. Participants who are unable to attend the webinar virtually or in-person may listen to the hearing by calling (914) 614-3221 and entering access code 375-313-906. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will be able to view project documents, ask questions and make comments for the public record.
