	The South Florida and Treasure Coast Regional Planning Councils announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Monday, April 15, 2024, 1 p.m.

PLACE:	1 Oakwood Boulevard, Suite 250, Hollywood, Florida 33020

Subject:	This conversation will focus on issues related to Florida’s Coral Reef including coral reef bleaching events, federal coral reef authorities and funding, increased funding for water quality through EPA’s South Florida Geographic Initiative, finalizing Florida’s Coral Reef strategy and securing seed funding to jumpstart Florida’s “coral restoration economy.” Attendees may include one or more board members, elected officials and staff from the South Florida and Treasure Coast Regional Planning Councils, Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin counties, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and South Florida Water Management District.
