Overview



	The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority office, 1104 East Twiggs Street, Tampa, FL 33602

Subject:	The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) invites you to attend a Public Hearing for the East Selmon Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the needs, costs, and effects of adding capacity on the Selmon Expressway (SR 618) from the I-4 Connector to US-301 in order to improve travel time reliability and safety. The public hearing will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 5:00 pm at THEA’s office, 1104 E Twiggs St, Tampa, FL 33602. The hearing will consist of information stations and a presentation. An open house will be held from 5:00 - 6:00 pm, where attendees may review project displays and documents, speak with project team members, and submit public comments. The presentation will start at 6:00 pm. Following the presentation, the open house will resume and in-person comments may be submitted until 7:00 pm. A court reporter will be available to receive comments in a one-on-one setting. To become part of the public hearing record, mailed comments must be postmarked and emailed comments must be received by April 29, 2024. Documents, plans, and project information are available at www.EastSelmonPDE.com. Draft project documents can also be viewed from March 28, 2024 to April 29, 2024 at the THEA Office Lobby, 1104 E Twiggs St, Tampa, FL 33602. THEA is sending notices to property owners, business owners, interested persons and organizations adjacent to the Selmon Expressway within the project limits to provide the opportunity to give comments regarding this project.
