Overview



	The Department of Transportation District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, June 20, 2024, 4:30 to 6 p.m.

PLACE:	In person at St. Johns County Public Library System Main Branch, 1960 N. Ponce De Leon Boulevard, St. Augustine Beach, FL 32084 or online at nflroads.com/VPH.

Subject:	FDOT proposes to modify the existing median opening at U.S. 1 and Marion Street. The existing full median opening will be converted to a directional median allowing for only left turns for drivers heading south on U.S. 1. FDOT staff and consultants will be available from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to answer questions and accept comments. A formal hearing and public comment period will begin at 6 p.m. Project documents are available for review at www.nflroads.com/VPH. Persons wishing to submit written statements in place of or in addition to oral statements may do so during the meeting or any time before June 30, 2024 by emailing Peter.Winkler@dot.state.fl.us or by mail to Peter Winkler, 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204. All exhibits or statements postmarked on or before June 30, 2024 will become part of the public record.
