	The Osceola County announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	Osceola County invites you to a public meeting regarding proposed improvements to Jack Brack Road from Narcoossee Road to Absher Road on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The in-person meeting will be conducted as an Open House from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The purpose of this project is to enhance safety along Jack Brack Road. The proposed improvements will widen and reconstruct the roadway into a two-lane divided urban roadway with a raised median and closed drainage system. To enhance safety for all users, the corridor speed limit will be lowered to 35 mph, and buffered bike lanes and 6-foot sidewalks will be incorporated throughout the corridor. Additional improvements include the construction of stormwater ponds, signalized intersections at Zuni Road and Absher Road, and the addition of street lighting. Modifications to the existing signal at Jack Brack Road and Narcoossee Road may be needed. Osceola County is offering multiple ways for the community to participate in the meeting. Virtual Option: Interested persons may join the Virtual Public Meeting (VPM) from a computer, tablet or mobile device. A VPM is a free live presentation or webinar over the internet.
