Overview



	The Department of Transportation District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	August 1, 2024, open house 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., public comment period 6 p.m.

PLACE:	In person: Dixie County Public Library, 16328 SE Highway 19, Cross City, FL 32628; online: nflroads.com/VPH

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation invites you to a public meeting to discuss the County Road 357 over Shired Creek Bridge and California Swamp Culvert replacement project (FIN 437402-1-52-01 and 437403-1-52-01), currently scheduled to start in summer 2025 and estimated to be complete in fall 2026, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. The meeting will begin with an open house from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a public comment period at 6 p.m. Public participation is sought without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status. Project documents and virtual participation instructions are available at nflroads.com/VPH. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will be able to view project documents, ask questions and make comments for the public record.
