Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

PLACE:	The public meeting will be held simultaneously in-person and virtually. The in-person public meeting will take place on the same date and time and will be held at the South Regional/Broward College Library, 7300 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public meeting for the State Road (SR) 817/University Drive from north of Pembroke Road to north of Johnson Street Mobility Improvement Project in Broward County, Florida. The Financial Project ID Number is 443597-1-52-01. The purpose of the project is to provide mobility improvements along the corridor to enhance pedestrian and bicycle safety and improve multimodal connectivity. Construction is anticipated to begin in Winter 2026 and end in Spring 2028. The estimated Construction Cost is $ 26 Million. The Public Meeting will begin with a presentation at 6:00 p.m. followed by a question-and-answer session. Staff will be available to answer questions and provide assistance.
