	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, August 1, 2024, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a public meeting regarding the proposed median modification on Alternate US 19 just south of Curlew Road/Causeway Boulevard in Pinellas County, Florida. The public meeting will be held in person Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. As part of this widening and resurfacing project on Alternate US 19 from south of Tradewinds Drive to Mediterranean Drive and on SR 586 (Curlew Road) from Alternate US 19 to Bogie Lane, FDOT is proposing one median opening closure just south of Curlew Road/Causeway Boulevard. The closure would improve safety and bring the road up to current access design standards along the corridor. To allow for maximum participation, the public meeting will be held in two formats including an online option and an in-person meeting. The information presented will be identical for both formats. Attendees will receive project information, review project displays, and have the opportunity to submit comments and speak with the project team. Comments received or postmarked by August 14, 2024, will be included in the official meeting record. FDOT is sending notices to nearby property owners, business owners, interested persons, and organizations to provide the opportunity to offer comments and express their views regarding the proposed access management changes.
