Overview



	The Pasco County Florida announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Open House: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

PLACE:	City of New Port Richey City Hall 5919 Main Street New Port Richey, FL 34652 (Council Chambers)

Subject:	Pasco County and the City of New Port Richey are currently evaluating a bridge replacement project for the Grand Boulevard Bridge over the Pithlachascotee River. The existing bridge, built in 1957, requires replacement. The proposed bridge will be similar to the length and width of the existing bridge and in the same location, however, the bridge deck will be raised approximately 3.3 feet to match the elevation of the Main Street Bridge and provide more clearance for boats. The new bridge will be designed to provide two travel lanes separated by a 4.5-ft wide center median, 10-ft wide sidewalks and an 8.5-ft wide area for landscaping/ seating along both sides. We are contacting all property owners (pursuant to Florida Statutes 339.155) whose property is within 1,500 feet of the project, however, this does not mean that all properties will be directly affected. A Community/Stakeholders Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the City of New Port Richey City Hall, 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey. The meeting format will be open house with no formal presentation and will take place in the City Council Chambers. This will be an opportunity for you to obtain specific information and to ask any questions you may have regarding the Project. Public Participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
