Overview



	The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (EDT)

PLACE:	This is the first of two workshops that will be broadcast via webinars. All webinars will have the same presentation. Participation in the webinar will require access to a computer OR access to a telephone. Those that do not have computer access can listen in on the phone. Subject:	The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is seeking input on draft revisions to the Gopher Tortoise Management Plan. The Management Plan outlines the necessary objectives and conservation actions needed to lower the rate of gopher tortoise population declines and ultimately remove the species from the Florida Endangered and Threatened Species List. The Commission will present draft revisions to the Gopher Tortoise Management Plan at these workshops. The meeting will provide the public with an opportunity to offer feedback and suggestions on the proposed Management Plan revisions.
