Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, District Seven announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	August 13, 2024, at 4:30 p.m.

PLACE:	In person location – Treasure Island City Hall Chambers, 10451 Gulf Boulevard, Treasure Island, FL 33706 and Online: Visit https://www.fdottampabay.com/project/1061/449213-1-52-01 to see the public meeting presentation.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a public meeting for a proposed median modification as part of the resurfacing project on SR 699/Blind Pass Road from north of 75th Avenue to north of W. Gulf Boulevard in St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island, Pinellas County, Florida. Construction is anticipated to begin Summer 2025. The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. As part of this resurfacing project on SR 699/Blind Pass Road from north of 75th Avenue to north of W. Gulf Boulevard, FDOT is proposing the installation of a mid-block crossing with a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) just east of Harrell Avenue and a subsequent median modification. The RRFB would promote safety for pedestrians and all road-users in the area. To allow for maximum participation, the public meeting will be held in two formats including an online presentation and at an in-person location. The information presented will be identical at both options. In-person: Attend the public meeting in person anytime from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Treasure Island City Hall Chambers, 10541 Gulf Boulevard, Treasure Island, FL 33706. Attendees will be able to view the project presentation, speak to the project team, and provide comments.
