	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, September 12, 2024, 5:30 p.m. (EDT)

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a hybrid public meeting concerning the S.R. 30 (U.S. 98) Trail Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from Kenneth B. Cope Avenue to the East End of the Ochlockonee Bay Bridge in Franklin County. The project information can be accessed online beginning 12 p.m. (EDT), Thursday, August 15, 2024. This meeting is being held both virtually and in-person to provide interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed improvements. Citizens are encouraged to attend the virtual meeting at www.nwflroads.com/calendar. Those unable to participate virtually may attend the in-person meeting at the SummerCamp Beach, Event Meeting Room, 108 Sea Pine Drive, St. Teresa, FL 32558. Pre-registration is required for the virtual format and encouraged for the in-person attendees. The same materials will be presented for each format. The intent of this study is to support a wide range of non-motorized modes of transportation for all users as part of the Capital City to the Sea Trail (CC2ST) system in Franklin County, Florida. The project is 20.5 miles in length. This information provides interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed improvements. FDOT representatives are available to discuss the proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments via telephone, email, or U.S. Mail. The deadline to submit official comments related to this project update is Monday, September 23, 2024. Public participation is held without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
