Overview



	The Department of Transportation District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Sept. 16, 2024, 5 to 6 p.m. (virtual) Sept. 17, 2024, 4:30 to 6 p.m. (in person)

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a construction open house for the I-95 widening project from south of Emerson Street to Atlantic Boulevard (Financial Project Number 432259-2) along with a public meeting to discuss proposed modifications to the I-95 and Emerson Street (SR 126) interchange. A virtual construction open house and public meeting will be held Monday, Sept. 16, 2024. Staff and consultants will be available from 5 to 6 p.m. to answer questions and accept comments related to the I-95 widening project and the proposed interchange modifications. A formal presentation and public comment period regarding proposed interchange modifications will begin at 6 p.m. Registration information and project documents are available at NFLroads.com/VPH. An in-person construction open house and public meeting will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024 at the FDOT Jacksonville Urban Office, 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204. Staff and consultants will be available from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to answer questions and accept comments related to the I-95 widening project and the proposed interchange modifications. A formal presentation and public comment period regarding proposed interchange modifications will begin at 6 p.m. Both virtual and in-person participants will be given equal opportunity to ask questions and make oral statements for the project record. Written statements or other exhibits may be submitted in the comments section at nflroads.com/VPH or by directing them to Project Manager Will Lyons at Will.Lyons@dot.state.fl.us or 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204. All exhibits or statements postmarked by Sept. 27, 2024 will become part of the project record.
