Patron Dispute Process

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of Rule 75-15.002 is to establish a process for the Florida Gaming Control Commission to review appeals of patron disputes involving gaming in facilities operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida and/or participating in sports betting through sports books conducted and operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

SUMMARY:

Rule 75-15.002 incorporates by reference the Memorandum of Agreement Between the Seminole Tribe Gaming Commission and the Florida Gaming Control Commission (the “MOA”) effective September 3, 2024. The MOA sets forth the process for the Florida Gaming Control Commission to review appeals of decisions issued by the Seminole Tribal Gaming Commission in patron disputes, including submission of evidence and arguments to the Florida Gaming Control Commission by the Patron and the Seminole Tribal Gaming Commission.
