	The The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).

PLACE:	Central Florida Expressway Authority, 4974 Orl Tower Rd, Orlando, FL 32807

Subject:	Project Description: Florida Department of Transportation District 5 Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5310/5311/5339 Grant Workshop The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Five will host an in-person workshop that will highlight the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Programs that provide funding under Sections 5310, 5311, and 5339. During the Open House, participants should anticipate an opportunity to listen to an in-person condensed presentation on the importance of fire suppression maintenance practices. Participants will be provided a certificate of attendance. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a presentation focused on implementing procurement best practices. Finally, attendees will have the option to view vehicles available via Transit Research Inspection Procurement Services (TRIPS) and communicate with FDOT staff and subject matter experts in a layout similar to an exhibition.
