Subject:	FloridaCommerce announces cancellation of this public meeting. This meeting will be rescheduled for a later date in which advanced public notice will be provided. Federal regulations related to the United States Department of Health and Human Services funding requests require states, such as Florida, that are applying for Community Services Block Grant funding to prepare a State Plan as part of the application process. We are also required to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the contents of the State Plan. The Florida Department of Commerce is holding a public meeting on Thursday, October 17, 2024, to receive comments regarding the state of Florida’s Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) State Plan for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2025 & 2026. APPEALS INFORMATION: If a person decides to appeal any decision of the Florida Department of Commerce with respect to any matter considered at the public meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceeding. For such purposes, he or she may need to ensure that a record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be made.
