	The Florida Department of Transportation, District Six, announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Six, will host a Public Kick-off Meeting for the SR 9A/I-95 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from south of NW 62 Street to north of NW 143 Street, in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The study’s financial management number is 414964-8-22-01. The purpose of the study is to address the operational deficiencies to relieve current and future congestion along the SR 9A/I-95 corridor. This meeting is an opportunity to provide attendees with an overview of the project and obtain feedback. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an open house, followed by a formal presentation at 6 p.m. and then a question-and-answer session. This letter is being sent to all property owners and tenants within at least 1,000 feet of either side of the project and other public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations and individuals interested in the project. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
