Award of Postsecondary Credit or Career Education Clock Hours for Completion of the Workforce Internship Component of the Step into Success Pilot Program

PURPOSE:

Establishing the Step Into Success Pilot Program for awarding postsecondary credit or career education clock hours to eligible, former foster youth participating in the workforce internship component of the Program.

SUMMARY:

Establishes the procedure institutions must follow to assess the workforce internship component of the Step into Success Pilot Program to determine awarding of postsecondary credit or career education clock hours for eligible former foster youth participating in the workforce internship component of the Step into Success Pilot Program. The rule sets forth the responsibilities and rights of the institution and establishes the process and the required documentation for the petition for the award of credit.
