	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, November 19, 2024, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

PLACE:	Holiday Inn & Suites Harbourside, 401 2nd Street, Indian Rocks Beach, Florida 33785

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a public meeting regarding the proposed median modifications on SR 688/Walsingham Road from SR 699/Gulf Boulevard to east of Indian Rocks Road/Oakhurst Road in Pinellas County, Florida. The public meeting will be held in-person Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. For those unable to attend in-person, public meeting materials will be available on the project webpage. As part of a resurfacing project on SR 688/Walsingham Road from SR 699/Gulf Boulevard to east of Indian Rocks Road/Oakhurst Road, FDOT is proposing to close the median opening at the entrance of Indian Rocks Center on SR 688/Walsingham Road. The modifications would improve safety and bring the road up to current access design standards along the corridor. Additional improvements will include milling and resurfacing, upgrading ADA facilities with enhanced safety features, minor drainage modifications, signalization, signing and pavement markings and lighting. Construction is anticipated to begin fall of 2026. To allow for maximum participation, the public meeting will be held in two formats including an online option and an in-person meeting. The information presented will be identical for both formats. In-Person: Attend the public meeting in person anytime from Tuesday, November 19, 2024, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn & Suites Harbourside, 401 2nd Street, Indian Rocks Beach, Florida 33785. Attendees will receive project information, view project displays, and have the opportunity to submit comments and speak with the project team.
