Overview



	The Florida Public Service Commission announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	In-person Customer Service Hearing(s): Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. (EST) Eastern Standard Time Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) Central Standard Time

PLACE:	12/04/2024: Fernandina Beach City Hall, 204 Ash Street, Fernandina Beach, Florida 32034 01/08/2025: Jackson County Agricultural Offices, 2741 Penn Ave. #3, Marianna, Florida 32448

Subject:	Docket No. 20240099-EI – Petition for rate increase by Florida Public Utilities Company. The purpose of the customer service hearing(s) is to give customers and other interested persons an opportunity to offer comments regarding the quality of service the utility provides, the proposed rate increase, and to ask questions and comment on other issues. One or more of the Commissioners of the Florida Public Service Commission may attend and participate in this meeting. All witnesses shall be sworn under oath and be subject to cross-examination at the conclusion of their testimony. The hearing will be governed by the provisions of Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, Chapter 366, Florida Statutes, and Chapters 25-22 and 28-106, Florida Administrative Code. If settlement of the case or a named storm or other disaster requires cancellation of the proceedings, Commission staff will attempt to give timely direct notice to the parties. Notice of cancellation will also be provided on the Commission’s website (http://www.floridapsc.com) under the Hot Topics link found on the home page.
