Overview



	The Environmental Regulation Commission announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Friday, December 13, 2024, starting at 1:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Room 137, Douglas Building, 3900 Commonwealth Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32399-3000.

Subject:	The Department of Environmental Protection will seek the ERC’s approval of Chapter 62-565, F.A.C., “Potable Reuse,” and amendments to Chapters 62-550, 62-555 and 62-610, F.A.C., to implement recommendations of the Potable Reuse Commission’s 2020 report “Advancing Potable Reuse in Florida: Framework for the Implementation of Potable Reuse in Florida” as required by Florida’s Clean Waterways Act of 2020 and the new groundwater exemption in Section 403.0643, F.S. The adoption of Chapter 62-565, F.A.C., in conjunction with proposed amendments to Chapters 62-550, 62-555 and 62-610, F.A.C., will establish regulatory requirements for facilities involved in the production of advanced treated water or distribution of potable water derived from advanced treated water. The notices of proposed rules for each of these chapters were published in the Florida Administrative Register Vol. 50/220 on November 8, 2024. The Department will brief the ERC on the current draft of the Chapter 62-705, F.A.C., Grease Waste Removal and Disposal Rule. A notice of workshop/meeting to brief the ERC on the proposed Grease Waste Removal and Disposal Rule was published in the Florida Administrative Register Vol. 50/224 on November 15, 2024.
