Showing of Interest

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule amendment is to consider rulemaking on the subject of the processing of showing of interest statements by employee organizations (unions.)  Showing of interest cards are dated statements required by section 447.307(2), Florida Statutes, signed by employees in a proposed bargaining unit, indicating that such employees desire to be represented for purposes of collective bargaining by the employee organization (union) filing the petition for a bargaining unit.
