	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a virtual project update concerning the U.S. 90 Multi-Use Path Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study in Okaloosa County. This information provides interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed improvements. FDOT is conducting a PD&E Study to consider adding a multi-use path along U.S. 90 from Cooper Lane to the future Holt Community Center. The intent of this study is to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety, enhance trail connectivity, increase mobility and recreation, and promote economic development by supporting non-motorized modes of transportation and the Shared-Use Non-motorized (SUN) Trail Program. The total distance of this study is 2.4 miles. The study will develop and evaluate viable alternatives and will make recommendations to address existing and future needs. Design is funded. Right of way and construction are not funded at this time. Maps, drawings, and other information is available for review online beginning 12 p.m. (CST), Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at www.nwflroads.com/calendar. The project materials may also be viewed by contacting the FDOT Project Manager using the information provided below. FDOT representatives are available to discuss the proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for these projects are being, or have been, carried out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
