	The South Florida Water Management District announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, February 27, 2025, 1:30 PM 2025 Update for the Sea Level Rise and Flood Resiliency Plan

PLACE:	Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District 27701 Bonita Grande Drive, Bonita Springs, Fl 34135 This workshop is in-person only. Remote viewing and participation will not be available.

Subject:	This workshop is being organized as part of the District’s ongoing coordination efforts with local, state, and federal resiliency partners through the South Florida Resiliency Coordination Forum. This in-person workshop will bring together key stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and provide early feedback on the 2025 update for the Sea Level Rise and Flood Resiliency Plan (Plan), with a focus on the counties in the Southwest Coast (SWC), including Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Glades, and Hendry. The workshops will also serve will also serve as an opportunity to explore valuable tools, resources, and information, including the latest Resilient Florida Program updates from the State of Florida, and to ensure the Plan update reflects the diverse needs and priorities of our local communities. All interested stakeholders and the public are invited to attend and participate in this workshop. One or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may attend this meeting. No Governing Board action will be taken.
