	The Department of Education announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Education (Department) announces a public comment period and public hearing related to the proposed Perkins State Determined Performance Levels for 2025-2026. The public comment period runs from March 2, 2025 to April 2, 2025, with an online public hearing scheduled for March 6th. As part of Florida’s State Perkins Plan, the Department must agree to performance targets on key metrics defined by Perkins V and implemented by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education (OCTAE). Measure targets were previously set for the program years 2020-2021 through 2023-2024 as part of the Perkins Four-Year State Plan. With the revisions to the State Plan in 2024, proposed performance targets must now be submitted on an annual basis.
