	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (CDT)

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a Hybrid Public Hearing concerning the State Road (S.R.) 173 (Blue Angel Parkway) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study in Escambia County. This information provides interested persons an opportunity to review the results of the study and provide comments concerning the proposed improvements. This study evaluated the widening of S.R. 173 (Blue Angel Parkway) from two to four lanes, between U.S. 98 (S.R. 30) and S.R. 297 (Pine Forest Road), in Escambia County. S.R. 173 (Blue Angel Parkway) is an important north-south roadway connecting Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola to Interstate 10. This critical corridor serves approximately 21,000 drivers daily. The study will develop and evaluate viable alternatives and will make recommendations to address existing and future needs along the seven-mile corridor. Pre-registration is required for the virtual format and encouraged for in-person attendees. Participants are asked to register at the following link: www.nwflroads.com/calendar. The same materials will be presented for each format. Maps, drawings, and other information are available for review beginning at noon (CDT), Thursday, March 13, online at www.nwflroads.com/calendar and on-location from Thursday, March 13 through Sunday, April 20, at the West Florida Public Library, Bellview Branch, 6425 Mobile Highway, Pensacola. The project materials may also be viewed by contacting the FDOT Project Manager using the information provided below. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss the proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for these projects are being, or have been, carried out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
