PURPOSE:

This rulemaking will update defined terms, update the list of snails and slugs, clarify quarantine areas and the movement of regulated articles, repeal rules that are no longer necessary, and incorporate new material.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule will align defined terms with the amended text, update the list of snails and slugs injurious to Florida agriculture, clarify the Department’s regulatory requirements for quarantine areas and the movement of regulated articles, and incorporate new material.
