RULE:

64E-18.002	Definitions
64E-18.011	Environmental Health Technician Certification

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule amendment is to update an existing rule and to create new Rule 64E-18.011, implementing SB 1582 (2024), regarding requirements for environmental health technicians (EHTs).

SUBJECT:

These rules establish definitions of terms; minimum standards of education, training, and experience; process for application, examination, issuance, expiration, and renewal of certification; and ethical standards of practice for EHTs.
