Certification of Assistants

PURPOSE:

Changes to the rule and its incorporated forms, Form DH-MQA-5101, Mobile Opportunity by Interstate Licensure Endorsement (MOBILE) and Form DH-SPA-3, Application for Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology Assistant Certification, are being made to comply with new fingerprinting and background screening requirements in s. 456.0135, F.S.  The new requirements will become effective on July 1, 2025, in accordance with Chapter 2024-243, Laws of Florida.

SUMMARY:

Changes to the rule and its incorporated forms, Form DH-MQA-5101, Mobile Opportunity by Interstate Licensure Endorsement (MOBILE) and Form DH-SPA-3, Application for Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology Assistant Certification, are being made to comply with new fingerprinting and background screening requirements in s. 456.0135, F.S.  The new requirements will become effective on July 1, 2025, in accordance with Chapter 2024-243, Laws of Florida.
