	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	This design project seeks to improve the safety and operations of SR 45 (US 41) in Manatee County. The roadway modifications include intersection reconfigurations and the addition of raised medians to the existing two-way left-turn lanes. The raised medians were strategically placed to reduce the number of conflict points, simplify driver decision making, and to reduce the distances that drivers would have to travel in the two-way left-turn lanes while preserving access to side streets and driveways. Additional project elements include resurfacing near the medians, the addition of new pavement markings, signing and traffic signal loops where necessary. All project elements are anticipated to occur within the existing public right-of-way. For your convenience, there are several options to participate in the public meeting including an in-person option and a virtual/online option. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will receive the same information on the proposed project, and all comments received in-person, virtually, or electronically, will be given equal weight. If you have questions or comments regarding the project, please share them with us during the live in-person meeting, during the live virtual meeting or through the project website (www.swflroads.com/project/449653-1). All comments submitted by Friday, June 20, 2025 will be included in the public record.
