RULE:

68A-13.003

Hunting Regulations for Ducks, Geese, and Coots

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule amendment is to modify existing migratory bird hunting regulations to conform with federal frameworks for the 2025-2026 hunting seasons. The effect of the proposed rule amendment would modify the September duck season, shift the falconry season dates, and change the daily bag limit on pintails.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule amendment would remove the September teal-only hunting days, add falconry days to compensate for the unintended loss, and increase the daily bag limit on pintails from one to three.

Article IV, Section 9, Florida Constitution n; Section 375.313, Florida Statutes.
