PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule amendment is to codify the process for establishing black bear hunting seasons on Wildlife Management Areas, and to remove unnecessary rule language. The effect of the proposed rule amendment will be to facilitate the establishment of bear hunting seasons on Wildlife Management Areas.

SUBJECT:

Subject area covered in this rule development effort pertains to the harvest of black bears in Florida.
