	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

PLACE:	In-Person: City of St. Pete Beach - Commission Chambers, 155 Corey Ave, Saint Pete Beach, FL 33706 Virtual/Online: A link to project displays will be posted to the project website: 449213-1-52-01 SR 699 (Blind Pass Road) Repaving from 75th Avenue to 99th Avenue

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a public meeting regarding the proposed median modifications on SR 699/Blind Pass Road from north of 75th Avenue to north of West Gulf Boulevard in Pinellas County. The public meeting will be held in-person on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, public meeting materials will be available on the project webpage. As part of a corridor improvement project on SR 699/Blind Pass Road from north of 75th Avenue to north of West Gulf Boulevard, FDOT is proposing the following: • Modifying the median by adding raised median islands at 78th, 79th, 80th, and 90th Avenues, as well as near the Yacht Club. The modifications would improve safety and bring the road up to current access design standards along the corridor. This project will also include sidewalk improvements, upgrading traffic signals and mid-block crossings and minor drainage work. The project is anticipated to begin construction in 2026. To allow for maximum participation, the public meeting will be held in-person and posted online. The information presented will be identical for both formats. In-Person: Attend the public meeting in person anytime on Thursday, July 17, 2025, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the City of St. Pete Beach - Commission Chambers, 155 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, Florida 33706. Attendees will receive project information, view project displays, and have the opportunity to submit comments and speak with the project team. FDOT is sending notices to nearby property owners, business owners, interested persons, and organizations to provide the opportunity to offer comments and express their views regarding this project and the proposed improvements.
