Overview



	The The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a community open house announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

PLACE:	In-Person at North Brevard Senior Center at 909 Lane Ave, Titusville, FL 32780 and virtually

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a community open house regarding the S.R. 405 Corridor Study from north of S.R. 50 to east of U.S. 1 in Titusville (FPID no. 447699-1). The purpose of this S.R. 405 Corridor Study is to determine the need for, and potential impacts of, widening the road from two to four lanes. The corridor study will consider surrounding land use, future growth, and potential impacts to the study area to determine the location and conceptual design of preferred roadway and mobility improvements. The open house is being held to present information and receive community feedback. The in-person open house will be held at the North Brevard Senior Center at 909 Lane Ave, Titusville, FL 32780. Attendees will have an opportunity to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions. To provide additional flexibility for stakeholders, FDOT is also offering online opportunities to get involved: • Join the online webinar at 5:30 PM to watch the project presentation and submit written questions or comments using the webinar questions box. Visitors to the page may watch the project presentation, view project exhibits, and submit comments and questions directly to the project manager. Project materials will be available beginning Wednesday, July 30, 2025, and will be the same as what will be shared at the in-person open house. While the information will remain on the website throughout the project, please provide comments or questions by Wednesday, August 13, 2025, to have the comments included in the open house record. If you are unable to attend the open house or participate online, you may contact the FDOT project manager directly at the phone number listed below. FDOT is sending notices to nearby property owners, business owners, tenants, interested persons, organizations, and the general public to provide the opportunity to offer feedback regarding this project and the proposed improvements. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
