Overview



	The Governor and Cabinet, exercising its powers as head of governmental agencies, boards, and commissions, announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	July 22, 2025, 1:00 p.m. EST

PLACE:	400 S. Monroe Street Tallahassee, FL 32399

Subject:	Given the time sensitive nature of the matters, a meeting under subsection 120.525(3), Florida Statutes, is warranted. In addition to exercising its appointment authorities, including the appointment of coordinators and council chairs, the Governor and Cabinet will act on matters within its authority, including those outlined in Florida Statute, Florida Administrative Code, and the Florida Constitution, including: The State Board of Immigration Enforcement will take action on matters duly presented on its agenda which may include but not be limited to such matters as formulation of Board rules, exercising the appointment and approval authorities of the Board, administrative procedure matters, submittal of reports as required, enter into contracts or to award grant agreements as authorized and to consider other matters within its authority pursuant to Chapter 908, F.S. NOTE: The Governor, Chief Financial Officer, Attorney General, and Commissioner of Agriculture will join via phone. The Cabinet Meeting Room of the Florida will be open to the public, and the meeting will be streamed on the Florida Channel.
