PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of this proposed rule is to amend rules in Chapter 62-730, F.A.C., identified in the Department's 2024-2025 Regulatory Plan as needing to be amended by adopting federal regulations by reference which incorporate conforming changes for editorial and technical revisions based on six Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Revision Checklists provided by the Environmental Protection Agency to maintain state program approval. Each checklist outlines specific changes to the federal regulations made by one or more related federal final rules published in the Federal Register.
