	The Florida Department of Transportation, District One announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Town of Lake Placid Government Center, Community Room, 1069 US 27 North, Lake Placid, FL 33852

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to the Design Public Meeting for design change improvements on SR 70 from CR 29 to Lonesome Island Road. The project study limits include SR 70 and CR 29 in Highlands County. The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of design changes and provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide comments. You can choose the meeting format that best suits your convenience. You may participate either in-person or through a self-guided virtual meeting room. The same materials will be displayed at both the online and in-person events. IN-PERSON OPTION: The in-person meeting will be conducted in an informal, open house format, with no formal presentation. Project exhibits will be on display, members of the study team will be available to answer questions and collect your comments.?The same materials will be provided at each meeting.
