Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	The Public Meeting will be held virtually and in-person on separate days. The virtual meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. The in-person meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. A formal Presentation will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a question-answer period. Questions and comments will be answered in the order received. All questions, comments or statements will become part of the project record. The same information will be presented at both the virtual and the in-person for the Public Meeting, so attending both is not necessary.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a virtual and in-person Public Meeting to present information and gather feedback from the public concerning the Bridge Rehabilitation for County Road 707/Dixie Highway Bridge (Bridge Number 890003) also known as the Old Roosevelt Bridge over St. Lucie River Project. The project identification number is 450587-2-52-01. The proposed improvements along the County Road 707/Dixie Highway Bridge include sidewalk improvements, improvements to maintenance access, bridge painting as needed, bridge machinery, and miscellaneous repairs. The project will enhance the community by improving safety for all roadway users. Community feedback is at the core of all we do. FDOT works with the public to balance their community vision with the community's transportation needs. This is routine on all our projects to ensure Florida's infrastructure is safe, resilient, and efficient for many years into the future. Notices are being sent to all property owners and tenants located within at least 300 feet on either side of the proposed alignment and to other public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals that have expressed interest in the project. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
