Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

PLACE:	The public meeting will be held simultaneously in-person and virtually. The in-person public meeting will take place on the same date and time and will be held at the City of Weston Commission Chambers (Inside City Hall), 17200 Royal Palm Boulevard, Weston, Florida 33326.

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public meeting for the State Road (SR) 93/I-75 from SR 862/I-595 & SR 869/Sawgrass Expressway Interchange to SR 25/US 27 Roadway Lighting Safety Improvements Project in Broward County, Florida. The Financial Project ID Number is 451076-1-52-01. The purpose of the project is to improve safety for nighttime users of the corridor by providing additional roadway lighting and upgrading existing lighting. Construction is anticipated to begin in Winter 2027 and end in Winter 2029. The estimated Construction Cost is $7 Million. The Public Meeting will begin with a presentation at 6:00 p.m. followed by a question-and-answer session. Staff will be available to answer questions and provide assistance.
