	The Alliance for Aging, Inc. announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

Subject:	The Alliance for Aging intends to request a Direct Service Waiver from the Department of Elder Affairs for the provision workshops under the IIID program of the Older Americans Act for the following services: • Fit &Strong in Miami-Dade County • Tai Chi Quan Moving for Better Balance in Miami-Dade County • Chronic Disease Self Management (in English) in Miami-Dade County • Diabetes Self Management (in English) in Miami-Dade County • Chronic Disease Self Management (in English) in Monroe County This is a public hearing to provide an opportunity for input on the Direct Service Waiver Application Service descriptions may be found on the Department of Elder Affairs website: https://elderaffairs.org/wp-content/uploads/2023-Appendix-A-Service-Descriptions.pdf. The Area Agency’s rationale for direct service provision is that the Area Agency ensures an adequate supply of such services.
