	The Florida Department of Transportaion, District One announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	October 16, 2025, 4:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Bonnet Springs Park Welcome Center, 400 Bonnet Springs Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33815

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to a public workshop for the SR 563 at Pear St./Parker St. Safety Project/Median Modification in Polk County on October 16, 2025. The in-person open-house will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The purpose of this project is to improve safety at this intersection. The project identification number is 446274-1. The workshop is being held to present information about the proposed design. The workshop provides an opportunity for the public to offer feedback on the proposed plan for the project record. The Department has two ways to participate in the workshop: by attending the in-person event at Bonnet Springs Park on October 16, 2025, or by viewing the materials online through the project website www.swflroads.com/project/446274-1. All workshop material will be available online or at the in-person event. You may choose any combination of the options provided to review the materials and to submit your comments. FDOT is sending notices to all property owners, business owners, interested persons and organizations to provide the opportunity to give comments to FDOT regarding this project. While comments about the project are accepted at any time, please send your comments by October 30, 2025, to be included in the project record. A summary of the comments and responses will be available on the project website approximately 30 days following the workshop.
