RULE:

59A-4.126	Disaster Preparedness
59A-4.1265	Emergency Environmental Control for Nursing Homes

PURPOSE:

Rule 59A-4.126 and 59A-4.1265 outline nursing home requirements to have a written plan for procedures in the event of disasters.

SUMMARY:

The Agency proposes to revise rules 59A-4.126 and 59A-4.1265 to align language with statute 408.821 regarding submission and approval of comprehensive emergency management plans (CEMP), remove obsolete language and update incorporated CEMP form for nursing home facilities.
