	The The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, October 23, 2025, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

PLACE:	South Holiday Library, 4649 Mile Stretch Drive, Holiday, Florida 34690

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a public meeting regarding the proposed median modifications along US 19 (SR 55) at Louis Avenue in Pasco County, Florida. The public meeting will be held in person on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the South Holiday Library, 4649 Mile Stretch Drive, Holiday, Florida 34690. As part of the proposed median modifications along US 19 (SR 55) at Louis Avenue, FDOT is proposing the following changes on US 19: • Adding a pedestrian traffic signal and a mid-block crosswalk. • An existing left-turn lane to be closed with a raised median • Another existing left-turn lane to be shifted north. The proposed roadway modifications will enhance safety. Construction is anticipated to begin in Summer 2026. In-Person: Attend the public meeting in person anytime on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the South Holiday Library, 4649 Mile Stretch Drive, Holiday, Florida 34690. Attendees will receive project information, view project displays, and have the opportunity to submit comments and speak with the project team. FDOT is sending notices to nearby property owners, business owners, interested persons, and organizations to provide the opportunity to offer comments and express their views regarding this project and the proposed improvements.
