Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, December 11, 2025, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

PLACE:	Pioneer Park Community Center, 910 Panama Avenue, Clewiston, FL 33440

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is proposing to replace the bridge on Homestead Avenue over Marsh Creek (Bridge No. 074026). The existing bridge culvert consists of five, 68-inch diameter, 48-foot-long corrugated metal pipes which will be removed. The current bridge condition is structurally deficient with significant corrosion damage to the metal pipes. The bank is beginning to slump, and embankment protection has widespread minor damage. Minor stream bed movement is also evident, and debris is slightly restricting the channel. The proposed replacement is a 60-foot-long bridge using a two-span cast-in-place flat slab. It will consist of two 11-foot-wide travel lanes, two 2-foot-wide shoulders, and 36-inch single-slope concrete traffic railings on each side.
