Broward County Boating Restricted Areas

PURPOSE:

This rule amendment will establish a year-round slow speed, minimum wake boating restricted area for the purpose of protecting public safety in the Intracoastal Waterway between Oakland Park Boulevard Bridge and Sunrise Boulevard Bridge.

SUMMARY:

Establishment of a year-round slow speed minimum wake boating restricted area in the Intracoastal Waterway adjacent to Lauderdale Beach in Broward County.
