Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, District Four announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	January 27, 2026, 6:00 p.m.

PLACE:	St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners Meeting, 2300 Virginia Ave., Administration Annex, Fort Pierce, FL 34982

Subject:	The Roadway Jurisdiction Transfer Between FDOT and St. Lucie County: County Road (C.R.) 614/Indrio Road from State Road (S.R.) 713/Kings Highway to U.S. 1 (S.R. 5/Federal Highway) AND C.R. 712 (Midway Road) from I-95 (S.R. 9) to U.S. 1 (S.R. 5/Federal Highway) to be transferred ON to the State Highway System from the County. S.R. 607 (Emerson Avenue) from S.R. 614 (Indrio Road) to Indian River County Line AND S.R. 615 (N. 25th Street) from C.R. 611B (Edwards Road) to U.S. 1 (S.R. 5/Federal Highway) to be transferred OFF the State Highway System to County jurisdiction. Additionally, the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners will consider a resolution which authorizes the transfer of maintenance obligations for the railroad crossing located within the transfer limits of C.R. 712 (Midway Road) to FDOT contingent upon FDOT entering into a Railroad Crossing Agreement with Florida East Coast Railway, L.L.C.
