Overview

RULE:

68A-12.002

General Methods of Taking Game and Crows; Prohibitions

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule amendment updates hunting regulations concerning methods of take for game species. The proposed rule corrects a prior omission regarding the take of wildlife with pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) airguns.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule amendment aligns rule language with the proposals that were previously communicated to the public and approved by Commissioners to establish that the same regulations for taking deer with PCP airguns apply to bear.
